Blue Clarage corn has a deep blue color and was developed as a meal and feed corn by homesteaders in the Ohio Valley and West Virginia between 1830 and 1850. This heirloom  corn mills easily and creates a beautiful lavender colored flour with white and blue specs. 

This beautiful color of cornmeal is perfect for making delicious cornbread with a wonderful flavor profile as well as creating tasty corn muffins, crackers, hushpuppies, giving a delightful crunch to your sweets and more!  It also makes a great inclusion in breads. 

Blue Clarage is a true culinary delight! Stone-ground cornmeal is less processed and a healthy way to eat grains because it retains the whole grain when ground, lending an excellent flavor and nutritional profile to recipes.
